How to get to Axmouth by Car, Coach and Train

There are a number of ways to get to Axmouth making it very easily accessible from wherever you are travelling.

If you are travelling by car, from the North take the M5 to Junction 25. Then take the A358 to Ilminster - Chard - Axminster - Boshill Cross (Junction with A3052) and finally take the B 3172 to Axmouth.

If you are travelling from London take the A303 to Ilminster, A358 to Chard - Axminster - Boshill Cross (Junction with A3052) and then the B3172 to Axmouth.

If you are travelling from the South Coast take the A35 to Axminster, A358 to Boshill Cross (Junction with A3052) and then the B3172 to Axmouth

If you are travelling from the West, take the M5 to Junction 29 (Exeter), then take the A3052 to Sidford - Colyford - Boshill Cross (Junction with A358), and then the B 3172 to Axmouth

Alternatively use may wish to take the train. South West Trains operate a fast and frequent service from London Waterloo to Axminster and Exeter St David's. First Great Western Trains operate a service from London Paddington to Taunton and Exeter St Davids. Virgin Trains also offer services from all major UK destinations to Exeter St Davids throughout the year

Axe Valley Mini Travel operate services in the Axe Valley especially in the summer season and First Southern National operate coach services throughout the year.
